The team at JAYHAWK are happy to announce that we’ll be attending the 2018 High Temple Workshop from January 29th to February 1st. This year the event is being held at the Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel, in Palm Springs, California.
What is the High Temple Workshop?
The High Temperature Polymeric Laminate (High Temple) Workshop was created to feature the development of high temperature polymeric composites and future technology requirements. Basic polymer chemistry, material development, and material applications are the main focus of the workshop.
Since its launch in 1982, the workshop has shifted focus with advances in polymeric composites. Recent workshops cover the areas of design, testing, development, and applications of high temperature reinforced polymeric composites.
This year there is a range of sessions over 3 days, covering government overviews, high temperature resin synthesis, modeling high temperature materials, high temperature hybrid materials, and application areas.
Speakers at this year’s event include Jonathan Spowart from the Air Force Research Laboratory and a team from Virginia Tech.
JAYHAWK at the High Temple Workshop
The JAYHAWK team will be at the High Temple Workshop and would love to meet anyone interested in fine and custom chemicals for advanced composites. If you’d like to get in touch before the workshop, please contact us.
